Account Manager Mining

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a high-value portfolio of Tier 1 mining accounts.
  • Promote premium undercarriage products and specialized componentry services.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to increase market share.
  • Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings in remote locations.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to align inventory with client demand.
  • Drive the expansion of the business into fixed plant mining sectors.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing relationships with Tier 1 mining companies.
  • A background working with major OEMs (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi) advantageous.
  • Technical or sales expertise specifically within componentry advantageous.
  • Experience in earthmoving or fixed plant mining environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex corporate structures.
  • A valid C Class Australian driver’s licence and a willingness to travel.

 

Previous exposure to Construction or Earthmoving Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as Volvo Construction Equipment, Hitachi, Caterpillar/CAT, Liebherr, Komatsu, Kubota, Bobcat, Case Construction, JCB, Yanmar, Sumitomo or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
