Mining Excavators

Mining Excavators components: high performance, maximum durability

ITM is committed to ensuring its products always meet the highest standards to fulfil the severe requirements of the mining industry, constantly introducing new and innovative solutions while maintaining the lowest possible hourly operating costs.

Excavators used in mining operations are commonly known as shovels. This term refers to machines with an operating weight ranging from 100 tons to 1200 tons and above. These machines are specifically designed for a variety of tasks, including working a shot face, top loading trucks with overburden, and breaking out a virgin bank. However, they have a very limited capacity to travel long distances within the mining site.

Mining Excavators

All Mining Excavators exist in two variants: Back Hoe (BH) or Face or Front Shovel (FS) boom configuration with the same undercarriage and components.
All components are designed to be fully interchangeable with original parts with a particular attention to the “easy” installation (especially in the field), reduced maintenance and improved performances. For this reason, all mining excavators’ rollers are factory-equipped with sensors (TRUST ITM® technology) to monitor and maintain all working parameters under control.
