travel with optimised ground pressure. ITM engineering used in-house FEM analysis to provide a weight reduced B5 size undercarriage without compromising quality and stability. The inclusion of remarkably elongated shoes ensures balanced ground pressure, perfectly suited for this application.

Nuclear Waste Transporter

Nuclear transportation machines are designed to safely transport nuclear fuel to and from reactors. ITM designed a specific B9 size track frame to carry an additional 150 t load and to meet the customer’s requirement for the smallest cast flat shoes of 500 mm.

Electric welding tractor

ITM has developed an electrically powered rubber tracked undercarriage with bogies, to move a platform with a welding generator, contributing to the shift towards environmental sustainability.
