Sales Account Manager
- Market Growth: Maintain and grow existing business while identifying and acquiring new customers in the mining sector.
- Sales Expansion: Develop and sell new applications to existing customers, expanding the use of ITM products.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with customers at all levels, including executive leadership, to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals, in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Product Development: Act as a liaison between customers and ITM for product enhancements or new developments.
- Collaboration: Work with management to develop forecasts, quotas, sales policies, and marketing strategies.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and analyze market trends to inform sales strategies.
- Customer Support: Investigate and resolve product issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Maintain regular contact with management regarding account activity, market trends, and customer needs.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering background preferred, or equivalent experience.
· Experience: 5+ years in the mining industry, with experience in product support or technical sales.
· Proven sales experience with a focus on business development and customer relationships.
· Skills: Strong negotiation and strategic thinking capabilities.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Travel: Minimum 75% travel to mining sites and customer locations across America.
